We have been talking about home inspections that you can do yourself and the indicators that point to issues with your pipes. We talked about the importance of keeping your water heater as clean as possible. This may mean a replacement at some point. We discussed the visible leaks in your pipes and how they can affect your water pressure. We talked about the tendency for pipes to build up deposits on the inside, creating a low pressure situation. Low pressure is nothing that anybody likes to deal with. So If all of those factors are in place a repipe is generally the best way to fix the problems. That being said, there are other indicators that your pipes are failing.
We all love hot dogs right? Well to get those hot dogs tasting so good, it is generally accepted that they must be boiled. Fill up a pot of water and throw in the dogs. Boom, a predetermined interval later, tasty tubes of meat are fished out of the water. Now would you drink that water? Of course not; but that is what you are doing of your water is discolored or bad tasting. Your pipes are leaching nasty things into your water. Just like hot dog flavored water, you could be drinking all sorts of nasty stuff.
At Repipe Specialist of California we are here to make sure that you and your family are not drinking nasty water. So give us a call and see what we can do to help. So… mustard or ketchup?
